"What Is Kink?"

You can take a class on how to swing a flogger; but can they teach you how to like it? Is the ability to command with authority -- and make it hot -- likewise something you can learn from a class? And what about the other side - if you don't like pain, are you "really" a submissive? Are some people just born with the desire to serve, or is it something they came to more gradually? And what's up with "that guy" in the leather mask that they always show in movies? Is that really what kink is about?

Join us from 7pm-9pm for a discussion of our kinky world and some of the various forms our members' kinks take. Special guests Master DJ and SeptemberDragon (our own 2009 NW Master/slave champions) and several other panelists will share their experiences. The discussion will range from master/slave relationships, dominance, power, submission, the Leather community, service, sadomasochism, and processing pain. These are some of the subtler aspects of what makes a scene "hot" and not as easily grasped as something concrete like technique. Our panelists will share what these topics are about for them.

Potluck refreshments; if you wish please bring something to share.
